Sam Marsh's activities during his vacation in Atlanta (right after the events in KILLING GAME) isn't technically a Veritas mission. However, since it involved one of the firm's employees, I received permission to write about that investigation and it will appear in BROKEN DREAMS, a Veritas novella. During that trip he had the chance to meet and work closely with FBI Agent Susan Driscoll, who played a vital role in KILLING GAME. To say that the folks at Veritas love this lady is an understatement.
After I've written up the initial manuscript it is sent to a special editor who examines all the details, ensures I haven't revealed any of Veritas's secrets, and then suggests how I can polish that document so you will enjoy it even more.
The initial review of BROKEN DREAMS arrived earlier this week and I'm pleased to say very little was redacted. Once it's finished. Veritas's boss (Crispin Wilder) and the firm's lawyers will sign off on it, you'll be able to read it as well. Current time frame is late September. Updates will follow as needed.
